Who We Are

NexUp is powered by the DUDES Club Society – established in the Vancouver Downtown Eastside in 2010. Since then, there have been over 50 clubs in communities across BC.

DUDES Club is a proven model for Indigenous men’s wellness promotion that builds solidarity and brotherhood, enabling men to regain a sense of pride and purpose in their life.

A Youth-led Initiative

NexUp Initiative began in 2020 by engaging with young men, boys and masculine youth in our communities. NexUp supports spaces for youth to engage in the work that DUDES Club does by bringing voices to the table that address the needs of a younger demographic.

“…at NexUp you’ll find everything you didn’t know about men’s health”

NexUp welcomes and acknowledges the beauty, knowledge, and lived experience of all gender identities, expressions and sexualities while remaining dedicated to advancing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness of young men, boys and masculine youth.

We remain focused on supporting one another on our unique learning journeys as we continue to collaborate on projects that focus on redefining “men’s health.”

We commit to listening, learning, and adapting new ways to create safer, supportive, and motivating spaces for all Trans, Two-Spirit, Gender Non-conforming, Non-binary and Gender Queer individuals of all cultures, ethnicities, and racial backgrounds.
